Description

As the Senior Technical Delivery Manager, provide senior technical delivery oversight for development initiatives covering key IT technical delivery tasks, resources internal/external, vendors, performing suppliers, contract negotiations, and key technical interface to business project stakeholders in alignment to Global Marketing Organization Initiatives, Products, Strategy and Road Maps.


 


Key Responsibilities


Serves as Senior Technical Delivery Manager for new development activities and sustain. Has extensive experience delivering global IT solutions with insource and outsources development teams and multiple vendors. Drives tactical and strategic technical strategy for overall application portfolio across key business segments.  Acts as key technical contact point for technical decisions within a given program and ensures the appropriate oversight and compliance to standards and methodology.  Uses a broad and deep understanding of technical concepts relative to eCommerce Web Applications (B2C/B2B) in multiple specialized fields to develop solutions to problems with an executive consultative approach.  Will manage relationships with suppliers/vendors.


Will directly manage and responsible for Portfolio/Project financials.


Will manage directs reports.


 


Technology Project Management (Master technology task plan, Issues, Risks, Status reporting, etc.) Conducting work stream-level reviews and analysis to proactively identify required technical tasks/actions, issues, and risks Facilitating technology change management Coordinating & compiling technology estimates (cost and duration) Managing technology components of program forecast – tracking/monitoring technology resource utilization & spend


 


Skills and Abilities



  • eCommerce (B2B/B2C) solution experience (required)

  • Web Technologies/Architecture/Web 2.0 experience (required)

  • Finance and Banking Industry experience (desired)

  • SDP methodology experience (highly desired)


 


Demonstrated ability to manage:



  • Global teams of technical IT professionals across multiple suppliers and functions

  • Outsourced/Insourced Development in multiple performing, hosting and software vendors

  • Customer Focus – proven track record of customer satisfaction and ability to establish and maintain appropriate relationships with business and IT stakeholders

  • Consulting/Problem Solving – ability to work in an advisory capacity to identify key technical business problems, develop and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations

  • Systems Development Methods – extensive experience with all aspects of the development life cycle an and exposure to the various current software development methodology approaches

  • Technical Project Management – expertise in project management including project planning and estimation, project budgeting, staffing, project control techniques, and status reporting

  • Equivalency of a bachelor’s degree in a related field (information systems, computer science, business) Masters Degree (highly desired)

  • Minimum of 10 to 12 years of experience in information systems application development functions
